Nadia I joined plus specifically to make this request/add this comment - I currently use the custom tags feature in this way but it feels very unintuitive. The vision for this would be more akin to custom lists on letterboxd, or the multiple shelves feature on pagebound. I add books I'm interested in to my TBR but often forget why I added them by the time I get around to them, so I'd love to be able to add them to a curated list instead of/in addition to the general TBR. I think this would also help with managing the overall volume of the TBR, and finding books within it as well. Currently I've got ~200 books I'm interested in reading on there and know when I'm scrolling for something to read, I'm more likely to notice books I've added more recently, whereas if I had sub-shelves of books, I could more easily select books based on the list I've added them to. This is the only feature I find myself using outside of Storygraph atm!

leli If we added more functionality to our list feature — including a description — and then combined that with private notes, would that help more? Because you can then filter by tags/lists on your TBR.
