I have set year-long goals for pages read and minutes listened. But when I view the Stats tab, all of the charts appear to be using number of books read as the basis of the data. As a result, I do not have a real apples-to-apples comparison of my goals and stats.
I thought I could change this as a Plus user by creating custom charts. Even though I can select pages as a measurement, I do not think I can splice it with other dimensions (e.g. book type, mood, genre, etc.). It would be cool to be able to toggle between different sources of data for the charts.
Here is an example of how the charts may give a different outlook based on number of pages read:
Book 1 - Nonfiction, 650 pages
Book 2 - Fiction, 300 pages
Book 3 - Fiction, 150 pages
Chart based on books would show that 67% of my reading is Fiction.
Chart based on pages would show that 41% of my reading is fiction.
I see what you mean! As you say, the same/similar charts (esp things like book type, genre, etc.), but the slice is pages and/or minutes. That's something I can see us adding to the Plus plan as a built-in option.
