Only show content warning symbol if it is verified or percentage

I propose that the caution symbol should only show up if the content warning is verified, if a certain percentage of reviewers who left warnings mention it (like 50%), or if it's on the main page instead of needing to click see all. I read a lot of horror and nearly all of them have warnings for SA and it's wrong for more than half of them.

I agree, because I too have seen content warnings that I just flat out disagree with, like went "reader, this is not graphic, it is clearly implied, like there is no doubt what happened but what happened is not actually described in words and if you call this graphic, what do you call it when this thing is actually described?"
Honestly as a person that generally skips filling in content warning I'd like the option to review the content warnings others posted when I review a book: a little pop up that says "other reviewers have indicated this book contains graphic descriptions of SA do you agree?" and then an option to explain why you do or do not agree with it.

sylda That's a really fantastic idea! And so true about what people describe as graphic, implied is so different than graphic. Or even I saw someone mark a book as having pedophilia when it didn't. It did have a large age gap, but both were adults. But now there's one single content warning on the page and triggers the caution symbol for anyone who doesn't want to see that. Very frustrating!

sylda I like the idea of being asked to fact-check other reports when you say you've completed a book. Similar to Google Places' validation of specific attributes that make a location more easy to understand for prospective visitors. Mainly Yes / No / Uncertain, and maybe free-text comments when something is uncertain? But already having options to agree or disagree would be a nice improvement
