Hi! I know this was asked back in '21 , so was wondering if being able to set a book ask "paused" will be added in a future release. Thanks!

Hi Rachel! You can just ask on the original story, rather than making a new one. I've merged this one into that one.
It is definitely being considered, especially as it's a popular request.
