I really like being able to have friends following me here, but sometimes I read books about somewhat personal topics that I’d rather not blast out to all my friends. But simultaneously, I want them to count towards my stats/goals. It’d be really nice if there was a way to set some books I’m reading as “private” so my reading history wouldn’t be visible to anyone else on my profile and my review would show up on the book’s page as “anonymous”.

Yes! I'm working through some identity issues, and would love to track the memoirs/self help that I'm reading, but I don't want my friends and family to figure it out before I'm ready to share! This would be such a nice feature to be able to hide these, but also it would be great to be able to toggle it off later if I change my mind about their visibility.

Came here looking to see if this was possible as I have plenty of cringe books I would prefer not to shout about the specifics of

Yes!! I second this! Just reading a book a little too personal to advertise and thought I’d see if StoryGraph has a setting like this!
