Progress Tracking by Chapter instead of/in addition to % or pg #

It would be nice to be able to track my progress with Chapter numbers instead of/in addition to tracking my progress with percentages or page numbers. I typically read books multiple ways (e-book/audio or audio/physical) and so knowing what chapter I am on is important.
Currently, I use the Journal entry portion to keep track and that works well. It just would be nice to see that at a glance instead of having to open up the journal entries.
I'm not sure if this would be helpful to anyone other than me, but I figured there is no harm in asking (◕‿◕)

The issue with this is that we'd then need to know how many chapters were in the book and what page number/percentage that corresponded to!
Or you're just saying you'd like a separate way to note down which chapter you're on so you easily go between formats? If so, would adding a private note with your chapter when you do your progress entry help?
Nadia The image in my head was instead of a progress bar there would just be the words "Chapter 12" and then if the reader likes seeing a progress bar they could add in that information as well and the progress bar would also show on the main page. So it would look like:
Book Title
Author
Progress Bar using percentages/page numbers (if reader inputs that information)
Chapter Number (if reader inputs that information)
I definitely was not imagining a progress bar corresponding with the chapter number. Sorry my wording wasn't more clear (/// ̄ ̄///)
I currently use the Journal Entries associated with each book to keep track of what chapter I'm on. Again, it works well and is similar to how I used the Comment section on GoodReads to track that information. It would just be nice if I could see that information on the main page.
Thank you for all of your hard work and your willingness to listen! ❤
myersliberty Okay, gotcha!! Thank you for explaining. I'm not sure if we'll see this the product soon/in this form/at all, but I understand the ask and will keep it in mind!
