Rating for audiobook narrator

I would like to be able to rate a narrator in addition to the book itself when I listen to an audiobook. Currently I am listening to an interesting novel, but the narration just isnt that great and I would like to differentiate between the two when rating the book.

2026 - Here to vote for this as well. I'm 7 books into the year and 3 of them had annoying narration to the point of distraction. Now I know to continue each series by page. What do you need from users to make this happen??

Would love a section in the review to indicate that I 'read' it with the audiobook and the ability to rate the book as an audiobook with comments about the narration.
Coming to add support for this feature request! Some narrators really make the book incredible. And sometimes I liked a book but it was hard to get into and I had to switch formats because the narration production wasn’t good. I’d love to rate this on audiobooks separately from the book itself.
I’m so glad I’m not the only one that would like this feature. My idea is to use it so, that I can avoid certain narrators that I have found not be suitable to my tastes.. 🫢
Would also love this option...sometimes a narrator makes the audiobook even better.
natverse And sometimes the narration makes it so, so much worse! I just stopped reading a book because the voice the narrator uses for one MC is just so grating and terrible. Nothing against the book, so +1 I’d love to distinguish the audiobook quality vs. the book itself.
(And other audiobooks by that narrator are totally fine!)
It would also be awesome to be able to rate the quality of a translation. It impacts, a lot, the experience of the book and as someone who reads in either portuguese or english, the translator and the quality of the translation has an impact on my choice of the edition I'll be reading.

martafvduarte Nothing to apologise for at all. I did a quick look and couldn't find anything. I think it's a good idea and if you'd like to add a post that'd be great! Perhaps double-check there's nothing similar via the search. I know there's a "Translator stats" one, but that's different!
ooooh yes! and maybe even the ability to search for narrators? I will literally read anything narrated by Bahni Turpin or Marin Ireland.
xandraj if you find a book that was narrated by one of these people, you can go to the book and click on the narrators name and it will take you to a page that is similar to the authors page... But for that specific narrator! That is how I find many books read by narrators I love!
