Removing "Recommendations" and "Giveaways" from frontpage

I don't use the recommendations and Giveaways and find they take up quite a lot of space on my front page. Would love the option to remove them if you don't use them.

I'm not really interested in Recommendations and Giveaways on my homepage either. I would love for my currently reading to show up in cover view on my homepage along with TBR.
