See Books I've Read on Virtual Bookshelves

The biggest thing I miss about reading physical books is the ability to amass a personal library, where I can see all of my owned books on bookshelves. For many (like myself), we don't have room in our homes for so many books. I would love to see all the books I've read/owned on a virtual bookshelf. It could even be personalized, and users could see our personal library space (like a reading room). I haven't found any platforms that offer this, and would love to see it created here.

This is a fantastic idea! I read most of my books through Libby because money, so having a digital bookshelf would be an incredible feature.
I can imagine a world where we make it like an ASMR room, where you have the option to turn on sounds or not, and then sit and read with it taking up your computer or phone screen... 🤔
I use a spreadsheet that creates a very simple bookshelf, so hopefully this would not be too difficult to create. (I bought the tracker from WithAli on Etsy.)
Oooh I'm imagining how this might be built... it would be so cool if the thickness of the spine of the book was proportional to the length of the book! 🤓
