See "owned" and/or tags for people I follow

.I follow several family and friends and would love to buy them books on their TBR that they don't own. I would love to be able to see their owned books so I would know what they already have. Or even their tags(?) (I tag books as "to-buy" and I know some others do too). I buy books as gifts often and this would help ensuring I'm getting them something they don't already have. I was counting on my family being able to look at my profile to see which books I own, so they could surprise me with new books. Any chance we will be able to view each other's owned books like we can the To-Read Pile, instead of it being limited to 3 titles only?

Yes, we need to work on friends or something being able to see owned books. In the meantime, perhaps you can make a public (so people don't need a StoryGraph account to view) 'wishlist' tag?

My friends and I loved creeping on each other's tags back on Goodredads; would love to see this feature!

We will definitely have a way in the future for public tags to be shown on a person's profile page or even a built-in wishlist function.

For now, you can perhaps ask family members to make "wishlist" tags and share the link with you (after they've made them public) so that you know of potential gift options!

Thinking about this a little more, maybe only seeing this on the community page? Not sure where, but would love to see it.
