Share Owned Books with friends | Requests/Ideas

Hi!
I am a big believer in sharing books, so it would be cool if we could share our Owned Books on the Storygraph. That way our friends could see we have them and ask to loan them.
It could even go so far as seeing that a book is in a friend's library on the book page :)
Finally, as someone pointed out I think, it would be a way to see what books are still "missing" from someone's library to be able to gift them :)
Of course, as everything on the Storygraph (love you for that), this would be a opt-in feature.

Shipped

You can now share your Owned Books list with friends, or anybody, even people without a TSG account.

You can toggle your setting on the Preferences page.

Some of the other things discussed here, like a Wishlist feature, will be handled separately!

Nadia I don't know if you read this. But I was looking for this feature and you say it has to work. But my mum get a message that the page is unavailable. I have my privacy setting set to public. Is this a bug? Or am I doing something wrong here.

I would love this feature. I love lending friends my books and it would be so much easier for them to be able to know whether I have it before they buy themselves a copy they dont really need (and the otherway around ofcourse!)

Related - I think it would be cool to also be able to see and react to friends new purchases when they add new books as owned on the community feed (if they choose to make it public of course). Being able to include some detail like if it's a thrift find or a signed copy or something! I love seeing my friends collections and would be cool to be able to share new additions to the collection here.

zerosiero this would be a great feature as you could suggest a buddy read if you saw that your friend just marked a book as owned that you have been meaning to read!
