I would love an option to see stats by an author, similar to being able to see stats specific to tag.

I agree - I would love to be able to do this without having to make a tag for that author
I would love to be able to see which authors have the highest average rating for me!
aftereliza Me, too! But I would just love to see my average rating for an author regardless of whether it’s bad or good. I want to click and be told ‘you have read seven books by this author with an average rating of 3.43” or “you have read one book by this author with an average rating of 1” or “you DNF’d two books by this author.” I read A LOT and I can’t keep authors straight.
Stats by author, do you mean how many books we’ve read by a specific author?
