A “Currently Reading” widget for the home screen, styled similarly to the existing Favorites shelf.

The idea would be to visually display the books from the user’s Currently Reading shelf as cover thumbnails in a cozy shelf-style layout, instead of showing Favorites. It could optionally include:

• reading progress (% or page count)
• reading streak integration
• quick tap to update progress
• multiple size options for the widget

One of the nicest parts of StoryGraph is the visual experience of tracking reading, and this would make current reads feel more present and interactive throughout the day.
