Streak pause ability

I would love a feature to be able to pause my streak progress (similar to what Duolingo has) for when I am on vacation or other kinds of planned divergences from my usual reading routine.

This would be helpful when someone is sick and delusional and doesn’t have the capacity to read at the moment 😆 This happened to me last week and I lost a 175 day streak because I was delirious and forgot to log the one page I was able to read.
ebbookworm Hope you're feeling better! You can retroactively log the page by editing the date in your reading journal and then recalculate your streak to get it back.
snslayer I tried that, and it worked on the past, but for some reason this time it didn’t work I don’t know something happened to the website. It was the time kept logging me out during What I suspect was an update. and thanks for the well wishes I’m still getting better. It’s the fun side effects of being Auntie to a toddler 😆

And if you keep getting logged out, please uninstall and reinstall the app. We're not sure why that's happening for some people but reinstalling seems to fix it
Nadia thank you I hit the recalculate button and now it’s back to the right number. It went from 178 to 11 no it’s 189. Thank you. In my delirium I forgot about the recalculate button 🤣
