I regularly find myself manually adding data to existing titles or completely adding new books onto Storygraph. I really enjoy doing this and contributing to the community. However, it's difficult when there are multiple authors/series with the same name already logged into the system, and I don't know which one of these identical names/series to select. There's a 4-digit code attached to the names, but no clear information on what it means.
I've noticed that this has clearly been an issue for other people before, too, as I've seen some book series with books from completely different series that just happen to share the same name grouped together. I'm unsure how to report this either, as 'the series isn't called x, it's called x' doesn't seem particularly helpful!
I'd love for this to be remedied :)
