I feel like I might have made this suggestion before but I couldn't find it 😅 Apologies if this is a duplicate, I wish the roadmap tool let you look up a history of your own posts!
The next custom chart I'm working on is a "Date I Added It To My TBR" chart. I exported my data to get that info 🎉 and I'm going through all the books on my Read list and my TBR to add "tbr-add-XXXX" tags to every one. I just realized though that for books where I've read multiple editions, I have to remember to go into every single edition to add the same tag to them so that they will all show up correctly in the charts, since I read the different editions in different years. I wish there were a way that I could say "I added Gideon The Ninth, the book, to my TBR in 2020" and have any edition of it that I read know about that tag in my charts.
I would love for this to be the case.
I think this will be handled when I finally sort out this post: https://roadmap.thestorygraph.com/requests-ideas/posts/status-in-multiple-editions-not-shown
I desperately want this feature. I frequently reread books in different languages or formats, and I would love for my tags to show up on all of the editions I've used.
I would like to add my voice to this suggestion. With new custom charts that were introduced I am relying on tags more then ever and if I tagged a hardcover edition but end up listetnin to an audio book, the tag doesnt transfer and then my chart is broken. Is there a way that maybe we can toggle a box "apply to all editions" so it is optional? Thanks!
