I love the idea of the calendar view but this would make it so easy to visualise how long each book took me to read! Notion is a great start for making this, but it's so unwieldy, it's hard to visualise all the books.

Not quite the same but we're aiming to do something like this for the upcoming monthly wrap-up graphic. I can see something similar existing in-app at some point!

I made one of these myself last year in Notion and it very quickly became SO unwieldy with the number of rows. I'd love to have a Gantt-like chart that smartly condenses itself, so that one row could have multiple books represented on it as long as they didn't over lap in time. Maybe color-coded based on format or something. Like the top part of this very crudely drawn graph, you can fit five overlapping books on three lines, instead of like the bottom part where they are all on unique rows.
