Timeline of books read

I'd love to see something like a timeline showing how book read dates overlap. Less to do with pages read per day, but just showing start and end date on a timeline for each book*, possibly to scroll on. This is the only thing I've seen on another site (LibraryThing), but it doesn't have to be like this: http://simile.mit.edu/timeline/

  • (ETA: all books on a timeline, but each one has its own start & end date)

I think we have this now as a monthly thing (at least plus users do)

Yes! I found the "average time spent per book" really interesting in the end of year wrap up, but a visual representation of how long each book took would be fun. Especially if we could filter it and see how long we take to read different genres, formats, or fiction vs non-fiction.
It would also be interested to see the distribution of time as well - my average was 22 days, but I'd bet that most books took me either a couple of days or a couple of months... rarely in between!
Something like this would be really fun:

I love that the Reading Journal kind of does this, so that you can see how you quickly you read through them, but an overall timeline would be so cool!

this is a great idea! I would live to see all the “helper books” that got me through Capital in the 21st Century”...

Would love this! Since stats already available on when book is started/ended, would appreciate seeing more stats on time to finish books
