Turn off 'giveaways' menu

The top menubar is starting to feel a little cluttered, esp with the new 'giveaways' addition.

I really liked the minimal style of The StoryGraph and I'm wondering whether we could (maybe as a plus thing, or just for everyone) have an option in settings to never see the "Giveaways". I know some people will love that and want it in their menu, perhaps, but I am pretty sure I'll never use / want to use the Giveaways, so I'm fine keeping the less busy menu.

I would also love a way to opt out of seeing the Giveaways on the menu bar and home page. I like seeing covers for my TBR and Recommendations, but I don't like seeing covers for Giveaways on my home page. It might seem less intrusive if I could opt for it to appear as a button at the bottom of the home page, similar to how the Buddy Reads section is listed under the Community tab as a place I can go if I want but can also ignore if I want.

Thank you for your feedback!

Beyond the new addition to the menu bar, is there anything else that makes you think the app is becoming cluttered?

Without the new "Giveaways" addition on the menu bar, the last change was exchanging "Profile" for "Stats" (so something shorter), and apart from that there have been no changes for the last couple of years.

Let me know as keeping the minimal feel in general is important to us.

Nadia Yeah I noticed that. I approve of anything that keeps the top menubar as sparse as poss :) Thank you!
