Updating default "Mood" for books

It'd be nice if the main mood(s) listed for a book matched what reviews have tagged it as. For instance, the Orange manga has "light hearted" as its mood, but the top 3 moods tagged by reviewers are "emotional, sad, and hopeful," and it deals with heavier topics (such as suicide).

That's the plan! There are just a lot of things we have to keep in mind before doing something like this.
We're always updating our machine learning model that predicts the mood and pace though, and the example you cite sounds like a straight-up mistake (as opposed to a slight differing of opinion between the ML model and reviewers). When you see cases like this, please click on "Report missing/incorrect information..." and let us know, so that we can update the moods immediately.
