I find it difficult to tell whether I have written a review on an individual book. Maybe there is a view on the site that I am missing?
I have been trying to write better reviews this year, since I have been reading considerably more than in past years. I also found a list of books I read in 2010 with ⭐️ ratings and no notes, and for many of them I have no recollection of even reading the books let alone why I rated them the way I did.
In order to get the info I want, right now I have to go to this year's stats and open the list of all books I read. Then, I find myself opening every single book's "Add a review" or "See review" link in a new tab, because there is no way for me to tell whether I just left a ⭐ review and no text on the "See review" ones, and I have read too many to remember where I left off the last time I tried to make sure every book had a written review.
Basically, on a page like this (https://app.thestorygraph.com/books-read/jaina8851?year=2021), what would be really helpful in the filters would be "show me books with no reviews" AND "show me books with no written reviews" the way you can filter the community review page for an individual book.
Thank you for the suggestions and sorry that it's tricky for you to get to the information you need! We can definitely do a lot with the reviews page, especially with ways to sort and filter.
Nadia I just came back to the roadmap to file this exact ticket again (not remembering that I myself had already filed it two years ago 😅) because I once again found myself opening a new tab for every single book I've read this year to make sure I'd actually written a review. One thing I was wondering was instead of adding a filter for this, would it be possible to do something like changing the "See review" text to "Add written review" for those that don't have anything written? That way as I'm scrolling down my Recently Read list, I can distinguish between those that have just a star rating and those that still need some text.
jaina8851 Gotcha! Maybe...but some people never write written reviews so perhaps the consistent call to action will be annoying. Will have to see.
