Ability to add another exclusive shelf

I’d really like the ability to add extra exclusive shelves, in addition to currently reading, read, and TBR. I use this on Goodreads to denote books that I own, but haven’t and probably won’t read. I don’t want them clogging up my TBR but I don’t want to lose track of them completely. To me, this is an important feature that GR has and SG doesn’t.

I would also use this, my typical use would be read books that I don't want in my reading challenge but do want dates on: for example, on goodreads I used the shelf "kids" to keep track of picture books with dates I read them, reviews, etc but without them being part of my challenge or TBR
I know this isn't the same thing, but in the absence of this feature, have you tried marking books as owned and adding a custom tag to them, without adding them to your TBR?
