Especially for ebooks, I see many different editions of a book with different page counts; but often, still none of them fit my version/edition.
This leads me to two options:
(a) I can add another version of the book, copying all the information from an already entered edition but just changing the page count, or
(b) I can log the book I'm reading with a wrong page count. If it's only like 10 pages off, I usually don't care, but sometimes it's like 100 pages off. For example, I am reading Abaddon's Gate by James S. A. Corey at the moment and my ebook version is 464 pages long. There are already 5 English ebook versions of this book in the Storygraph database, but they are all 550+ pages. Logging one of these messes up my stats on a bigger scale though.
It would be great to have the possibility to edit the page number (just for the personal records, doesn't have to be in the database). That way I could keep my page counts accurate :)
Thank you so much for the app though. I really love it and actually open it more often than Instagram :)
Thank you for the post! There are a couple other posts asking for the same thing or similar. Will merge them all together at some point!
Nadia oh I thought I had scrolled through to check if others had posted this already but apparently didn't scroll far enough, sorry about that!
Definitely looking forward to the implementation at some point then! Thanks for your work :)
tabeatabeatabea Nothing to apologise for! Just letting you know. :-D
