Personalized ebook page number for tracking purposes

As on e-readers you can vary the size of the font greatly (and therefore greatly change the number of "pages" in the ebook, it would be nice to set what your personal number of pages is for easy tracking purposes (but then a % of the normal number of pages was used for total page count etc).
I want to read comfortably on my e-reader and track my progress but I don't want to accidentally inflate my "pages read".

Hello! Is it trickier for you to use percentages in those cases instead? For example, my Kobo shows me screens only (so will be showing things like 1000+ pages based on my font size), but I choose the digital version that matches the ISBN/publisher of my copy and then just log via percentages.
Nadia There's a problem when the book is very long and the number of pages you've read in a day is not enough to increase the progress by at least 1%
