It would be nice for ease of use if there was a button near the top of the page to update status or add a new note when we're on the reading journal page of a book we're currently reading.

Right now, when you enter a note on a reading journal it takes you to the reading journal page and you have to click to get back to the book so you can enter another reading journal.

I'm someone who likes to take notes as I'm reading and it's just a bit inconvenient having to click back and forth every time I want to update my status or add a new reading journal entry.
