Add reading journal entries from the reading journal page

It would be nice/more convenient to be able to add entries to a specific book's reading journal instead of having to go back to the "currently reading" page or book's profile to add a new entry. I can add screenshots if needed!

I just had to deal with this today - with a twist. Once you mark a book as read you can't easily edit or add to the journal entries. To do so you must mark the book as "currently reading". But that causes it to be considered a re-read so you have to make sure to edit that section too. Having to go back and do a "remove book" just to correct the journal entries is time consuming and clunky.
Ideally journal entry edits/additions should be allowed regardless of the book's reading status.
rlrwa Agreed! Just realized that I missed a day marking progress on a book and it reset my reading streak, so I needed to go back and add that entry, but I've already marked it as finished, so figuring out how to add an entry but still keep the book as "finished" without adding a duplicate has been kind of frustrating. I can mark it as "currently reading" again to add the entries, but when I go back and delete the extra "finished" in the journal entries, it is still counting a reread, so I go delete the "reread," but THAT deletes the "finished book" and means it doesn't show up on my calendar graphic. Would love some attention to this when there's time.

Wishing for this as well!! I take a lot of notes and type in my reactions to the book (like every few pages) so it would be so much easier if I can just have the reading journal page for the book open and just add there :)

Do you mean see them on the book page without having to go anywhere?
