Make app tabs more easily navigable

Currently when you're switchgng between tabs in the app, the page you were previously on reloads so you can't go back to it; for example if I'm scrolling through my TBR from the homepage, or was on a book page from the recommendations list, if I switched over to the stats tab, there's no way to go back to where I was; clicking the Home tab just brings me back to the home page again instead of the page I was previously on in that tab. It's a bit counterintuitive, and makes it harder to do more than one thing at a time in the app

iOS tabs live in v1.15.
Android bugs addressed in v1.19. (Remaining pull-to-refresh Standard/Custom behaviour is same in website so not in the scope of this work.)
Android tabs are live in V1.17, but there are a few bugs that I need to address:
Hoping to push a new iOS version with native tabs in the next day or two.
Transitioning the app to use a native tab bar is almost done on Android. Just need to handle dark mode, adapt the hamburger menu contents, and edit behaviour of the app's back button. Then I'll apply the same changes to iOS.
Starting with the same bottom four icons for now, but am considering adding 1-2 of Challenges, Explore, and Notifications...
Think I might go for Challenges and Explore...and Notifications stays in the hamburger.
Update: We're just having five tabs since the default for Android, as per the guidelines, is five.
Yes, I'm going to fix this this year.
