Multiple books per prompt in reading challenges
S
sallysimply

Right now, you need to repeat the same prompt multiple times within a reading challenge if the goal is to read more than one book for that prompt. For example, if the prompt is to read 3 books in Spanish, you need 3 prompts that say "Read a book in Spanish." It makes more sense to customize that prompt to allow for 3 books before it's marked as complete.

Still saying yes to this one! Excited to not have to write the same thing multiple times for these and track which book was in which "number" of the prompt. ✌️

Agreed. I came here to write this and I'm glad I searched first. It would be great if we could say, for a single prompt, read at least X number of these books, or read all of them.

Yes, this is something we've planned to do since reading challenges were launched!

@seriouslybookedup — we also plan to have different styles of reading challenges, like this one: https://roadmap.thestorygraph.com/features/posts/reading-challenges-based-on-number-of-books-of-a-certain-type-re

Yes! I came here to suggest the same thing. I have a some reading goals that are more about increasing genres, topics etc compared to last year's reading. I attached an example of a goal I have as part of my 2021 reading goals and it's already marked as completed but I think I'm still 2 books away from completing this prompt.

great idea! It would also make it easier to find suggestions from other readers because the books wouldn't be spread out across 3 prompts

Love your idea! It would be awesome to pick a number of books that need to be read for a prompt to be considered complete.
