Notes for TBR and Author Filtering

When I add something to my to-read, I'd like to be able to put a note to myself about why I added it, who recommended it to me, etc.
I'd also like to put a note next to some books that I know I don't want to read and why so that I don't accidentally add it to my tbr without remembering.
Additionally, is there a way to filter out entire authors from our recommendations without removing each book individually?

For future posts, please keep different ideas separate. It helps with the roadmap management.
Re authors, if they come up in your recs or the Browse All Books page, you can hit the 'x' by their name to remove them from those views.
At some point we'll have a way for you to proactively add and remove from that list.
Re your first point, I'm going to merge this post into the pre-existing post on it.
