Parent tags

I like to (overly) tag my books so I can find recommendations for people looking for something obscure or particular. Would it be possible to add parent tags? You could have the option to tag
only the parent tag or have it be automatically tagged when you choose one of its sub-tags.
For example:
- A parent tag of 'science fiction' but have sub-tags of 'dystopia', 'space opera' and 'zombies'
- A parent tag of 'Romance tropes' and sub-tags of 'enemies-to-lovers' and 'friends-to-lovers'
- A parent tag of 'Set in Asia' and a sub-tag of 'Japan', 'China' and 'Malaysia'
- A parent tag of '1800s' and sub-tags of '1810s,' '1820s', etc.
Something like that?

I was thinking about this the other way up -- tag nesting! But either way I'd use it immediately!
Some of my own examples where nested tags would be great:
(Maybe also relates to Tag Groups -- I wasn't quite sure whether to comment on that instead. And either way, if this could be included Ability to include/exclude tags based on prefix I could search just on the parent as needed.)
Just created my 200th tag, across 2,362 books (both read and TBR have various tags), so can confirm I absolutely love this feature already, especially being able to include / exclude multiple tags in a search -- book recommendations are much less work that way. (That said, book tagging is a lot more work, so it evens out, but anyway.)
coris Yes, was thinking to merge this into the Tag Groups post as I think they're very similar and I want to consider the posts at the same time.
This would be great!! A way to group my tags would be lovely. I've limited how many tags I've used because the list is sorta unwieldy at this point. I'd have ones like
location,sexuality, etccheesepuppy This ties into one of the ideas we have for Plus customers in the future... 👀
