I get a lot of book recommendations from #BookTube. I would like to record a note with the book so I know who inspired me to haul the book. I like to go back to them and thank them for their recommendation when I get around to reading the book, rather than relying on memory.

I’ve taken to using custom tags, but it potentially means creating huge numbers of tags - recommended-by-storygraph, readalong-storygraph - when I want to select a tag and apply a bit of meta-data along with it (tag: recommended; data: storygraph). If I just use a single ‘storygraph’ tag then it loses a bit of meaning (am I doing a readalong with StoryGraph or did they recommend this to me in the first place?). I might even want to link a twitter or YT URL to the book so I know where to reference later on.

Acknowledging the source of something is important to me, so I want to add this information somewhere in my book data.
