One stat I would find interesting is the publication years of the books I've read in that time period. Like - in 2022, am I mostly reading books published this year? Last year? Last decade?

With the new custom stats for plus users I think original publication year could be a nice addition as a "data type" (similar to page length and duration)! Would love to make some charts on publication year without have to tag all my books with specific splits :)
It would be great to drill down the current scatter plot for read year vs. published year to a specific time frame (i.e. current year, last year, etc.). Looking at it for all time just doesn't give me the insight or tracking I'm looking for.
millie00890 As part of the work to make this chart more readable/useful, we might add something like this, or the ability to choose which timeframe the chart looks at.

Have you seen the scatter plot at the bottom of the All-time Stats page?
Hi! I love the scatter plot, but I'd also love to have this stat for other time periods as well. (Especially with a chunk of my read list not having the full date logged - just the year - and the chart doesn't look very nice with everything pre-2020 looking like having been read in january every year before that)
