Exclude outliers in Publication Year vs Read Date graph

Since reading a Greek play written in 431 BCE, my Publication Year graph is a lot less useful since all other books are bunched together. I'd love to exclude that one book from this graph, or toggle it to the publication year for that edition instead of the original publication year.

I only discovered this graph after I'd already broken it by reading the Oresteia at the start of last year - dead curious to see what all those dot clusters actually have to say!

I’m so glad to see this up next because I have the same issue.

Sorry, where do you actually find this graph? I've never seen it in my stats.

ramalam98 It's at the bottom of the "All time" stats page, which you get to by toggling the dropdown at the top of the stats page. Let me know if you need any more help.

Just checking back in on this in 2023 - I'd really love to have this happen! I've read the Odyssey so I've never been able to use this chart, not on Goodreads and not here, and I think it would be really fun to see this for books!

I think giving the ability to see the plot with a log scale would solve that problem without excluding any books.

We'll hopefully get to work on improving this graph some time in the next few months.

Or maybe we could be able to change the x and y ranges for the graph? That way we wouldn't have to exclude single books and still had the overall statistic if we wanted it.
