I'd like to be able to track how I discovered a book (my friend Diane recommended it, I saw it in a NYT article, Story Graph suggested it, etc). Bonus points if I could link to the article, or social media post of exactly where I discovered the book.

Right now I use tags, but it's not a good use of them (I have tags like "rec-nyt", "rec-patricia", "rec-jenna"

I typically add this information when I'm adding the book to my TBR or when I start reading it, not as part of the review.

I'd like a dedicated section that I could run stats on so I can see how I discovered the books I liked the most (and least)
