Year-End Roundup

I really enjoyed Goodreads year-end feature. It's was a graphically pleasing collection of reading accomplishments that included things like:

  • how many books read
  • longest book
  • shortest book
  • most popular
  • least popular
  • highest rated

The StoryGraph could do something similar but also pull other info from the stats like:

  • most read genre
  • most read mood
  • how many re-reads
  • challenges completed
  • series started/finished
  • pages read
  • hours listened
  • top 3 tags
  • other cool facts (I've attached a picture from LibraryThing of cool random facts about all the books I've read and logged with them)

You could also give the users an option to select their favorite books/month or top 10 for the entire year or something.

I know a lot of these things we can see on our yearly stats pages, but not all of them, and it would be a cool addition to the Reading Journal to have a year-end history of our accomplishment, favorites, and so forth. :) And if it's graphically pleasing, more the better.

My personal favorite feature of the GR round up is the collage of cover art for all the books I read. It's one of the only things keeping me tracking on both apps.

Hello! Love these ideas, I imagine we'll definitely be brainstorming some end-of-year ideas, as we know people love sharing annual round ups! Thanks for your suggestions :-)
