Default edition format in search results

I understand search results right now use the default book type (with the exception of those we've already read, as per the recent update). I would find it helpful to be able to automatically have the search results show only digital editions, or only audio. Reason being, I don't go into editions when I add to my TBR, and then I frequently have to go back in bulk and check what editions were listed for books I've read recently.

This is my biggest wish list item! I chose the setting to default to digital, but I know that doesn't work how I actually want. I pretty much exclusively read digital books, so I had to do a bunch of updates of books I'd marked read to "digital format" to be accurate.
Now when I search a book, I just immediately go to editions and change to digital, but it would be great if it defaulted to digital or whatever we wanted.
Absolutely! I wish there was also a way to set it to 2 different verions (i.e. for those who listen to an audiobook while reading the physical book, or in my case, switching between the physical copy while at home and the ebook while out of the house [Since page counts can be slightly different between editions])
this would also be helpful to our family!

I’m blind and can pretty much only read audiobooks so this would be so, so helpful. Having to to change the editions each time is less accessible

This would be SO INCREDIBLY USEFUL. This year in particular I'm rarely managing to read print, and having to always switch to the audio version is annoying. It would save me so many clicks if I could search and have the default format be audio.
